        • Original Covering letter addressed to the Consular Section, Embassy of Lebanon, New Delhi from the applicant on the company letterhead stating his/her name, passport details, purpose and duration of stay in Lebanon. The letter should be signed by the authorized signatory with company stamp.

      • Accomodation Evidence (Required)

        • Hotel booking in the name of the applicant.

      • Air Ticket (Required)

        • Confirmed return air ticket.

      • Financial Records (Required)

        • Bank statement of last 3 months with minimum balance of Rs. 5 lakhs or proof of sufficient funds which states that the applicant can bear all his/her expenses in Lebanon for the complete duration of stay.

      • Lebanon offers the following major categories of temporary visas to Indian travelers:

        1. Tourist Visa: If you are entering Lebanon with the intention of travel, leisure or recreation, you can secure a visa in this category

        2. Business Visa: Travelers to Lebanon with the aim of conducting business trips without engaging in any remunerative activity or technical assistance are eligible for Business Visa. 

        3. Transit Visa: This type of visa is required if you are transiting via Lebanese airports to another country or back to your homeland. 

        Application Guide

        There are two ways to apply for a Lebanon visa:

        Through Counterpart in Lebanon:

        Visa can be applied by the Lebanese counterpart in the Lebanese Immigration Department. The Immigration approval in Arabic language from Lebanon which will be translated in English from Lebanon Embassy in Delhi and the applicant can travel on the same translated visa approval which will take 2 working days.

        Through Lebanese Embassy in India:

        Visa can also be applied at the Embassy of Lebanon, New Delhi by following the process as outlined below:

        Please download the visa application form, completely fill and sign it. Now, depending on your visa type, you will need to collect documents listed in the checklist section. Once you are done with this process, submit the application at the visa center during the working hours. Now you can wait for the visa to be approved and stamped on your passport.

        Please note that the fee for tourist visa depends on the approval from the Immigration in Lebanon. Kindly check with the Embassy after the approval is received.

        Also be informed that a Lebanese visa will not be issued on any passport or travel document, stamped with an Israeli visa or seal. Moreover, a Lebanese visa is rendered invalid if an Israeli visa or seal is stamped on the passport.

        The entire processing time can vary from 10 to 30 working days (depending on your visa type) since the embassy in Delhi will refer your application for the approval to Lebanon. This does not include Saturdays, Sundays or other public holidays.

          • A brief statement about the company in India and its products.
          • A letter from Indian Chamber of Commerce.
          • Copy of the Certificate of Incorporation of the Indian company issued by the Registrar of Companies of the concerned area.
      • Covering Letter (Required)

        • A covering letter from the organisation in India.

      • Invitation Letter (Required)

        • The letter of invitation from Lebanese company should be written in Arabic language with name of the person invited in English and the copy of invitation to be faxed directly in the Embassy on company letter-head, with full name, designation and company seal apart from signatures. This invitation letter should be addressed to the Consular Section, Embassy of Lebanon, New Delhi with a copy to the invitee. The invitation should be notarized.

        • A declaration on company's letter head stating that the company will take full legal, judicial & financial responsibilities of the return of the person who is applying for the visa.
