Known for its beautiful islands and underwater attractions, Maldives has very relaxed visa regulations for its visitors. An Indian traveler does not require to secure a visa prior to entering this country.
Visa On Arrival is issued at designated ports of entry, for a period of stay not exceeding 30 days. On presentation of your valid passport, and supporting documents (as per the document checklist) section, a free entry permit will be given to you on your arrival at the airport.
However an entry permit does not allow visitors to take up employment, set up any business or conduct any professional activities (paid or unpaid) except with the consent of the government and in compliance with pertinent laws and regulations of the Maldives.
